Fried Apples:
This is really good for a side dish or to put over ice cream. It's best warmed, but will keep in the refrigerator for a few days.
All ingredients can be increased or decreased according to taste or to stretch food for a meal. I just throw in ingredients, so the measurements here are an estimate.
Ingredients:
4-6 peeled apples, diced into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp sugar
Directions:
- Melt butter slightly in a pan on low to medium heat.
- Add apple pieces.
- Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Stir and cook until juicy and the apples are soft. If it seems dry, add more butter. Adjust sugar and cinnamon to taste.
- Serve hot.
